The French clock company started making electro magnetic clocks in 1920, this particular clock was made in that first year of production, it is stamped with the serial number 1802.
Further proof that it is an early Bulle Clock is that this has the half plate mechanism opposed to the full plate which came later.
This clock has been fully restored, including a new silk suspension, new insulation to the pendulum, and a full clean and polish, the clock is now working as it should and keeps good time.
Just open the front door to the case and you will see the beautiful workmanship on this antique clock, the movement of the pendulum is just mesmerizing.
There is some slight damage to the silvering of the face, please inspect the photos.
The case has been cleaned, re-polished with shellac and then waxed to bring back the original colors.
As this item has been fully serviced, we are happy to give a 6 month warranty on the clock.
