A lovely condition, mid century, Smiths Enfield mantel clock, in mahogany, with Westminster Chime.

The movement has been fully serviced, which entails a full strip down, inspection (including mainsprings), reassembly and oiling all bearings etc. The inspection of the movement showed very little wear, the movement looks as if it has just come out of the factory.

The dial is in good condition, although it does have a few marks due to the age, etc. but you need to get close to actually see the marks.

The clock chimes via a bar gong, and is very loud for such a small clock, it is the kind of sound you would expect from a Granddaughter or Grandfather clock.
